This was our first visit to the steakhouse since the previous business closed. Our mother's day prime rib meal was very enjoyable! The salad was very fresh and crispy but the homemade salad dressing was the star. Blue cheese crumbles were a welcome bonus. The prime rib portion was adequate for the price tasty and cooked perfectly to our requested temperature. The sides were okay but a slightly larger portion would be nice. Au jus was delicious! The staff was very friendly, attentive and family like. The only thing that made this a 4 star review instead of a 5 star was a slight but noticable odor upon entering the building that reminded us of a sewage back up. With that said we definitely look forward to visiting again!

Came down from Denver and asked the grand daughter to fine a place with steaks, that would be associated only with Pueblo, and she did. Nice steaks, nice price and very nice service. I had the NY with gorganzola(medium rare) and it was perfect. Shrimp cocktail was nice and the Old Fashion was very good. Now if they could only find a way to work in some Pueble chilies into there menu.

What a great steak especially for the price! Potatoes and veg were excellent but the house made salad dressing is so good you could drink it! The service was excellent and we have returned twice since it opened. The owners are onsite and are always friendly. I highly recommend!!

We were so disappointed when the old Klamshell closed down. We were skeptical about a steakhouse to replace it and have not had the opportunity to try the Steakhouse at the Klamshell until last night. Wow! What a wonderful experience. There was not anything to complain about as everything was top notch. We have already been thinking about what entrée we will order on our next visit. Great job to the staff as well as Andy and Mona.

This was a really good meal! My husband didn't care for the salad because it was spring mix and he prefers iceberg. I loved the salad--crisp greens with cucumber and tomato, great house dressing, and optional blue cheese crumbles. It came with warm, tasty garlic bread. My hubs had the Friday/Saturday night special offering: prime rib. A generous portion, it looked delicious and he said it was. Served with seasonal vegetables--baby carrots and mushroom, luckily I got his shrooms since he doesn't care for them. They were yummy (as were the carrots.) I ordered salmon, and asked for it on the rare side. It was less rare than I like it, but it wasn't overcooked and was delicious, with a great sauce. And I tried their twice-baked blue cheese potato, and it was sooo good!! Service was excellent, it wasn't too crowded, and it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely go back.

Friends took me here for dinner one evening in September. We had reservations. Our prime ribs were excellent! Cooked perfect. Our meals came with baked potatoes and mixed veggies. The salads were crisp and fresh with house salad dressing. Our waitress was very nice and kept our drinks full. At the end of the meal, we had a slice of homemade cake.
